Doors Opened in 2004
Feather Mountain Ranch is a small to mid-sized horse boarding facility located in Troy, MO, housing approximately 25 horses. We offer indoor stalls, outdoor covered stalls, and pasture. All horses on the property are provided grain and hay twice per day, and lunch hay if required to remain inside due to inclimate weather.
Horses are Handled on a Daily Basis
All horses are hand-walked to their respective turnouts, and carefully inspected on their way back in for any injuries they may have sustained during play. Late night bed checks are also performed to make sure everybody is happy, healthy and ready for rest.
We Get to Know Their "Normal"
At Feather Mountain Ranch we don't just board your horse, we get to know your horse, and think of them as one of the family. We get to know their "normal", so that we can more quickly identify a problem should one arise.
A true horseman does not look at the horse with his eyes, he looks at his horse with his heart.

Feather Mountain Ranch was opened with the goal of providing a place that was simple, safe and comfortable for both the horse and the owner. A place where the average horse lover could hang out, enjoy their horse(s), without pressure and fear of critics. But most importantly, we provide the love and compassion that is so commonly missing in your normal horse boarding environment.
There is always room to ride in our 70' x 120' indoor riding arena.
We also have a 60' x 70' indoor arena that is great for riding young or fresh horses, slow work under saddle, or working your horse at liberty.
Haul-in's are available to those that call ahead to schedule, and can produce a copy of negative coggins.
Our 110' round outdoor arena is excellent for riding all year round.
